Back from Taiwan I

It feels so great to be home!!

Aint gonna share anything related to army in this post. so be re-assured.. Everything related to SAF is confidental and restricted. so aint gonna be a blabber-mouth and start regretting later.

some things to share about taiwan...

Firstly. the people over there are really GREAT! so heart-warming and friendly. And they really respect soldiers alot! When they noe u are a Ah-Bing Ge (Army Man) they will start shouting "AH BING GE! JIA YOU!!" and stuff. sometimes they even offer u stuff.. but we have to reject them. sighhhhs.... When we're in civilian clothes.. they are still very nice. and really love to chat with us.. Singaporeans will NEVER do this!..

Secondly. their traffic is super crazy. suitable for ppl like howkiat.. drivers can just change lanes as they wish and just snake thru traffic. Scary sia... Oh yah. there is really awkwardness when we hopped on the cab. cuz the driver is left-seated..

Next.. Their food is really splendid! Though some of the food are over-rated.. Really love their milk tea to the max. as written in CzL's blog. perhaps cuz it's Taiwan! That's why automatically we think that their milk tea is superior than that of Singapore. but the pearls they give are alot and the servings is HUGE! OH YEAHH!! PUDDING MILK TEA + PEARLS ROCK TO THE MAX!!!

Chicken cutlet was good. so was their breakfasts and other snacks. Didnt really fancy their mee sua though. Even if it was from a famous shop.

Shopping-wise... Shihlin Night Market is really good. Cheap and a huge variety. Heard from my frenz that Wu-Fen-Pu was good. wanted to go there but my clique didnt noe of the place. so dropped the idea.. XiMenDing is a hell-overrated place, maybe just go there in the weekends to enjoy the atmosphere. Nth much over there. Reallyyyyy

Finally a chance to use a comp.. so much to say but so little time to type.. the meter on top of my computer just says 7mins left.. (at this point in time)

Life sucks over here.. and will get worse for the following days. aint gonna blog much about wads happening here anyways..

Really miss home now.. 2e5 peeps as well as my other frenz. Gonna meet up with them asap when i touch dowm mans. 2e5 peeps. organise gathering on sunday (6th sept) okayy.. will try my best to take time off.

and czl.. if u can read my blog. just update on how ur camp feels like. my camp totally sucks! and i need to come back here next yr. not to ur taipei camp or sth. so no chance to meet u again next yr liaos.. but reading from ur blog. it just seems ur place is so much better here. the place here seems like a jail mans! just really hope to go for my R&R!

Taiwan Here i Come!!

I asked Xiangxing this qn today.. Nervous, Scared or Excited for Taiwan. and undoubtedly.. his answer was the same as mine ----- Nervous and alittle of fear.. Sighhhs. aint really sure i can come back in 1 piece during this trip. Partially becuz of the training. but also due to the typhoon hit in that region. heard that my camp doesnt have much electricity and water supply. Imagine how many days without a bath!! Hell Yucky please!!

Wad bothers me more is my grping there. PS hafen cfm with us the groups. and that bothers me REALLY GREATLY! just hope that the peeps in my team are communicatable(is there such a word?!)

Arghhh! How how how?!. so gonna miss things here in Singapore. but as im whining now.. think about CzL.. just hope his 1 yr stay will be fine! Aim for u: 75-80kg when u get back!! (Read this!!)

Off to face the music lorhhh! Tata~~ for 3 whole weeks!!

ZiChar, Goreng Pisang, Popiah. I gonna miss Singapore!!

Had 2 outings with 2e5 over the past days. On sat Czl treated us with ZiChar and revealed his long-kept secret which practically i was the only 2e5'04 fella to noe?!. Hard to keep the secret lahh.. Confession to make: I told Joan a few days before. Sorry CzL..

The bill added up to about 130bucks+?! Think Czl made the wrong decision by letting the auntie approach Howkiat.. The food was pretty okay. not too bad. but didnt really stand out for me either.. The crabs werent that worth. but all in all.. THANKS CZL!!!

went over in abigail's car all the way to Changi Village. just to eat 1 Goreng Pisang. 1!!!! How interesting -.- walked around a flea market over there. pretty fresh but pity there aint much to look arnd. nth caught my eyes then.. Also with an intention to look at some minority groups in the region.. we left the place disappointed...

Sunday.. Popiah at Eric's House.. Not too bad. Went over late and no more egg! Arghhh! Ate 2 rolls.. and stupid howkiat doubted my ability to eat them.. and Jinfa was so amazed at how i managed to stuff 1 huge piece into my mouth.. hmmm. played for awhile then headed down to Al-Ameen to eat supper.. didnt really noe that the price was pretty steep. but wonder why there are still so many customers..

Sadded. will be leaving Singapore soon. perhaps most people will feel excited when they are going overseas. but not for me this time round... Training training training for dunno how many days straight. and this time round it gonna bring my mental and physical endurance to another level. or perhaps levels! Envious of CzL for having embarking leave for 1 entire week. mine's only 1 day. but he gonna leave for a yr though. wad a trade-off..

Sian to the max these few days.. Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooody!

Careless, Lucky and Pek Chek!

The title of the post kinda says it all..

Careless. Had nights out on Monday. and went out to JP with some of my platoon mates.. Took a small coach bus there. and ftelt tha it was just a normal nights out experience.. Just alighted from the bus. Eugene suan me for not tucking out my shirt. after which i did...

Had BK for dinner and Boyi became really fascinated over the female cashier.. After finishin our dinner or so. walked around the HUGE shopping centre and he somehow became a stalker suddenly.. wanting to go back to BK to see her name-tag. We then followed and swore not to enter the place.. but we super KPO and went in eventually and i think the girl somehow knew wad was going on..

Ok.. back to topic. When i took ZhenFeng's father's lorry back to camp. Zf joked about wad happens if someone misplaces the camp-pass.. i then check and it happened to be me!! I tot they were pulling a trick or so. but got to noe it was for real. DAMN SHITTTT PLEASE!! Went back to JP to search but to no avail. but still thankful to Boyi for all his help.

Sian to the max.. went back to camp and had alittle trouble bookin in. and luckily the sgt understood my situation and did not lecture me for returnin late.. Phew. was told to report to the course warrant the next day.. but eventually didnt really see him and couldnt contact him.. Missed out seeing the RP cuz had outfield prac the entire Tuesday. so... decided to drag it further. WHAT A PROCRASTINATOR I AM! perhaps im 'hum-ji' or maybe im just too afraid to face the music?

Wed to Fri.. couldnt report the matter as well cuz went oufield.. talk about it later.. it's regarding the 3rd adj in my title..

Feeling lucky cuz i recover it! lemme describe the entire process.. Friday booked out and spoke to one of the bus uncles.. he then gave me another uncle's no. hu frequents the route the most often.. called him and he insisted i didnt take his bus.. cuz i gave him the wrong timing. xD but still hoped he could check out his bus and give me a reply.. which he didnt..

Today morning my mum woke me up suddenly cuz of my passport thing. no IC cant collect. i was like SHIT!! i then called the uncle and insisted he helped me check.. LUCKILY!! (or perhaps suay?!) was in the rubbish bin!! Heck it mans!! Took mrt to boonlay and waited nearly an hour for him.. eventaully took a cab to PLC to find him and gave him a $10 as a thank-you fee... sounds stupid?. but at least it's better than paying $150 and doing 6 extra guard duty....

okok. now Pek Chek!! It's all my Survival Training. had a grp mate hu almost made me tear all my hair out or even hope to throw parang at him.. Aint sure wad to do with him.. Xiangxing and me were at the brink of explosion these 3days.. aint want to talk much about it..

Hmmmm. Thanks CzL for the treat mans.. ur 'secret' is finally out.. do u sound abit more relieved? Just hope we can sit beside each other on the plane kay? xD and wads with the orange urine?.. u like red rite?.. ur bladder got infection issit?....

Let's talk about some problematic stuff that happened in the army.. Had a week of break the previous week due to fever. and was supposed to be out of course.. but PS came over and told us we had to undergo this entire package.. Outfield from Mon to Thurs. with a field camp on Wed. No choice but to undergo, though im out of course alrdyyy. ARGHHHH!! After tahan-ing the entire package. i was told that im back on course. WEIRDS RITE!! The Power of Rank... xD (let's not disclose much okayy..)

Hmmm. Taiwan on the 15th!! will be travelling with a very good friend who might be posted there for a yr.. Really gotta miss him sia..(dun puke okayy..) In addition..Orders anyone?!?! will try to take all of them..

Okays. another 2e5 outing! Rocky's Pizza at Sunset Way. Refer to Czl Blog for more details.. but to add on to his post.. Other than Yibin who thought it was located at Somerset (perhaps cuz the place is Sunset Way. sound similar?).. but Jinfa thought it was at the Sunset Grill Area.. the Seletar Airbase. And was shocked when we said it was so near to Bukit Batok..

Oh yeah. on my way back.. took 61 from the place to BB interchange to take MRT. before entering the station. realised that i dropped my iTouch.. went back to the bus and check and everything.. lucky the uncle let me up the bus and there it was.. HENG SIA! 1 MONTH'S PAY LEHHHHH!!! Freaked out man..

Just hope me entering back to course is the correct choice...

OOHHHHHH! "I DON'T CARE EH EH EH EH EH" is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo addictive!!

Enough Rest?!

Darn it mans.. perhaps this is wad people say "Good times dun last.." Had a whole week of break from NS.. no camp. no training. no boots. no FBO. no Fast March. no everything!! Just slack at home... Things got really sian at first.. but when it's about to come to an end. how u wish it could drag on further... Currently OOC from Recce Course le bahh. aint sure gonna go back 5Sir or help out with stores over there.. but if it's the latter. just allow me to go Taiwan Please!!! And less work please!!

Sighhh. why am i complaining when the rest of my platoon are suffering worse than me?!. Though i will undergo wad they are going thru in the future.. okok. nvm... dun talk about army.

Ok. today's Ronghui RongXian's birthday celebration.. And stupid Yongshin was late for nearly an hour! Arghhhh!!.. Took 262 and got to Bishan Park.. where we walked to the restaurant.. Cool rite?!. an open restaurant in a park?! Got there and immediately welcomed by Ronghui.. and ltr rongxian.. Both of them are still SUPER FUNNY PLEASE!! their speech. tone. actions. everything.. super hilarious.. think my mouth didnt shut since i went there.. ate some and chatted some.. Soon.. louise gotta leave and RH and RX grabbed her for some photoshoot.. as though wedding photo like that.. all their poses Freaking make me laugh like crazyyy.. Blueberry Cheesecake!! NICE!!

Louise was supposed to leave earlier.. but cuz she dilly-dally.. in e end missed her driving circuit lesson. and got kinda ticked off? by her teacher.. saying the lesson could have been given to another student.. she felt kinda depressed and started pushin all the blame to yongshin for being late.. LOL.. make him super guilty.. the entire trip home she was giving him this super bu-shuang look.. Funny.....
