Im really a typical singaporean/2e5-ian/human.. when i get to enjoy something good. i dun treasure it.. but when it gonna disappear (for good). i start regretting.. Stoned for an ENTIRE WEEK at home. didnt do anything constructive. doubt i will get to enjoy another long holiday like this for quite some time.. perhaps only till next yr when i go Taiwan for Ex..

Brunei was bad. but frankly.. wasnt as bad as i imagined it would be.. i was mentally preparing for HELLISH training.. but ended up that my previous Taiwan training was worse.. but many interesting things happened this time round which also made this Ex more memorable. other than the xiong training.. A word of advice to those going there in the future a.k.a zhixiang -- dun take off ur boots while slping outfield.. ur feet will become a mini-mountaineous region. freaking crazy and itchy to the maxx!!

OK. out of army stuff.. Deepavali was this saturday. Went auntie michelle house as usual.. but it seems that progressively the children of my generation aint turning up.. perhaps it shall be my turn next yr. Practically stoning to the extreme there.. NOTHING TO DO except eating CURRY -.-"

Having loads of craves recently.. Dunno why i cant kick the crave of White Chip Macadamia from Subway. but there's also rojak, steamboat and many many more!! Chatted with Czl recently and he also mention he crave for some local cuisine. and laughed when he saw a shop in Taiwan selling satay (he says he noe that it will suck.. but how sure can he be? Right CzL?!!) but actually i kinda miss the Pudding Milk Tea and Chicken Cutlet over there in Taiwan.. Im sure i gonna bring at least 1.5x of wad i brought the other time when i go there next yr.. WHAHAHHAHA!!

Booking in tomorrow. Sighhhhhhhhh! Sian sian sian..

K-Pop is really the hit now. and im starting to influence some of my bunkmates as well. How long will it last?. and i wonder which country's music will be crazy over with next. Back to English/Mandarin/J-Pop or a new country like Thailand's? LOL! The extent of me typing this just simply shows how much i stoned for this entire week..

Oh yeahh. i missed a 4e5 gathering! Darn it man!! Cindy.. if u read this.. organise another one soon kay?. and preferably on a weekend =)))))

Off to Brunei lo!!

2Wks plus back from Taiwan and now Im going off to Brunei soon. within 9hours and 45mins and im on board the plane le! Weirdly, I dun really have the anxiety and nervousness as I experienced before going Taiwan, maybe cuz of the experience and knowing wad to anticipate... BUT!! Brunei is definitely more xiong/crazy? Just hope not.. And wish that I can come back in 1 piece kay..

Gonna leave my Ipod in Singapore. aint sure if that's a correct thing to do or not. but just hope my frenz are sufficient to entertain me for the whole of these 18days. Gonna miss my 3Fs: Family, Friends and Facebook!!

What is most depressing is the fact that i will be spending my bday there. 2nd day in Brunei!! What the hell! Hmmm. so those who wana wish me bday just leave ur msg in Facebook. dun waste the money sending an overseas sms..

Feel so tired out now.. Really want a long break from army. but have to wait lonngggg lonnngggg......

Botak Again!!

Darn SAF at times. had to S-H-A-V-E my head before going brunei.. and we have to undergo an inspection to pass.. This then set me thinking.. why do Caucasians look good/great/fantastic when they shave their head?. Like Justin Timberlake?.. But when we Asians shave.. we look like cocks or alittle like monks?. Hmmmmm.... issit just an inside perception/stigma?.

Countdown of 5 more days before i go to Brunei. Shitts! Just hope i can do as little stuff as possible there since the bulk of the trainin is for the rifle coys.. But more importantly!! PLEASE DONT RAIN!! or RAIN as little as possible....

Back to camp tomorrow. sian to the max!! but luckily they return an OFF day on Wednesday.

Had a craving for Subway Cookie - Especially White Chip Macadamia!! Went out and got 2 today. at the same time tried the Oatmeal one. but the former one is still da BEST!! Wana get another one before i board the plane on Friday sia..

Hmmmm. make this the last post relating to my trip from taiwan..

Just wana apologise to 2e5. cuz didnt really buy loads of stuff for u guys. just 2 boxes of pineapple thingy to share.. the taste is not too bad. but is considered abit bland compared to singapore pineapple tarts.

Couldnt buy everything which I listed out before the trip.. missed out a hoodie, some shirts, and bottoms.... but at least got myself a shoe, backpack and some Tees...

Now lemme show u peeps wad i got!

Let's talk about today!! Went to Carnivore with some platoon mates today.. As the name goes. the place is really for meat-lovers.. Is Brazilian-style BBQ, whereby the meat skewed over a metal sword? and are cooked over an open fire.. The waiters then bring them to your seats and cut it on the spot.. The taste can be abit jelat if u keep munching on the meat and thus, u will require the salad and pineapple(which is super good) to quench/refresh your mouth.. Oh yeahh! the service is really really good.. Price: $30 buffet. pretty steep but not too bad a place if you have the money to spare..

Had a really really good sleep ytd nite. LOVE my bed to the max!!

Sians. have to go back to camp tomorrow to do out-processing. before i can get my block leave.. Czl. how are you in the camp over there?!

Back from Taiwan I

It feels so great to be home!!

Aint gonna share anything related to army in this post. so be re-assured.. Everything related to SAF is confidental and restricted. so aint gonna be a blabber-mouth and start regretting later.

some things to share about taiwan...

Firstly. the people over there are really GREAT! so heart-warming and friendly. And they really respect soldiers alot! When they noe u are a Ah-Bing Ge (Army Man) they will start shouting "AH BING GE! JIA YOU!!" and stuff. sometimes they even offer u stuff.. but we have to reject them. sighhhhs.... When we're in civilian clothes.. they are still very nice. and really love to chat with us.. Singaporeans will NEVER do this!..

Secondly. their traffic is super crazy. suitable for ppl like howkiat.. drivers can just change lanes as they wish and just snake thru traffic. Scary sia... Oh yah. there is really awkwardness when we hopped on the cab. cuz the driver is left-seated..

Next.. Their food is really splendid! Though some of the food are over-rated.. Really love their milk tea to the max. as written in CzL's blog. perhaps cuz it's Taiwan! That's why automatically we think that their milk tea is superior than that of Singapore. but the pearls they give are alot and the servings is HUGE! OH YEAHH!! PUDDING MILK TEA + PEARLS ROCK TO THE MAX!!!

Chicken cutlet was good. so was their breakfasts and other snacks. Didnt really fancy their mee sua though. Even if it was from a famous shop.

Shopping-wise... Shihlin Night Market is really good. Cheap and a huge variety. Heard from my frenz that Wu-Fen-Pu was good. wanted to go there but my clique didnt noe of the place. so dropped the idea.. XiMenDing is a hell-overrated place, maybe just go there in the weekends to enjoy the atmosphere. Nth much over there. Reallyyyyy

Taiwan Here i Come!!

I asked Xiangxing this qn today.. Nervous, Scared or Excited for Taiwan. and undoubtedly.. his answer was the same as mine ----- Nervous and alittle of fear.. Sighhhs. aint really sure i can come back in 1 piece during this trip. Partially becuz of the training. but also due to the typhoon hit in that region. heard that my camp doesnt have much electricity and water supply. Imagine how many days without a bath!! Hell Yucky please!!

Wad bothers me more is my grping there. PS hafen cfm with us the groups. and that bothers me REALLY GREATLY! just hope that the peeps in my team are communicatable(is there such a word?!)

Arghhh! How how how?!. so gonna miss things here in Singapore. but as im whining now.. think about CzL.. just hope his 1 yr stay will be fine! Aim for u: 75-80kg when u get back!! (Read this!!)

Off to face the music lorhhh! Tata~~ for 3 whole weeks!!

Had 2 outings with 2e5 over the past days. On sat Czl treated us with ZiChar and revealed his long-kept secret which practically i was the only 2e5'04 fella to noe?!. Hard to keep the secret lahh.. Confession to make: I told Joan a few days before. Sorry CzL..

The bill added up to about 130bucks+?! Think Czl made the wrong decision by letting the auntie approach Howkiat.. The food was pretty okay. not too bad. but didnt really stand out for me either.. The crabs werent that worth. but all in all.. THANKS CZL!!!

went over in abigail's car all the way to Changi Village. just to eat 1 Goreng Pisang. 1!!!! How interesting -.- walked around a flea market over there. pretty fresh but pity there aint much to look arnd. nth caught my eyes then.. Also with an intention to look at some minority groups in the region.. we left the place disappointed...

Sunday.. Popiah at Eric's House.. Not too bad. Went over late and no more egg! Arghhh! Ate 2 rolls.. and stupid howkiat doubted my ability to eat them.. and Jinfa was so amazed at how i managed to stuff 1 huge piece into my mouth.. hmmm. played for awhile then headed down to Al-Ameen to eat supper.. didnt really noe that the price was pretty steep. but wonder why there are still so many customers..

Sadded. will be leaving Singapore soon. perhaps most people will feel excited when they are going overseas. but not for me this time round... Training training training for dunno how many days straight. and this time round it gonna bring my mental and physical endurance to another level. or perhaps levels! Envious of CzL for having embarking leave for 1 entire week. mine's only 1 day. but he gonna leave for a yr though. wad a trade-off..

Careless, Lucky and Pek Chek!

The title of the post kinda says it all..

Careless. Had nights out on Monday. and went out to JP with some of my platoon mates.. Took a small coach bus there. and ftelt tha it was just a normal nights out experience.. Just alighted from the bus. Eugene suan me for not tucking out my shirt. after which i did...

Had BK for dinner and Boyi became really fascinated over the female cashier.. After finishin our dinner or so. walked around the HUGE shopping centre and he somehow became a stalker suddenly.. wanting to go back to BK to see her name-tag. We then followed and swore not to enter the place.. but we super KPO and went in eventually and i think the girl somehow knew wad was going on..

Ok.. back to topic. When i took ZhenFeng's father's lorry back to camp. Zf joked about wad happens if someone misplaces the camp-pass.. i then check and it happened to be me!! I tot they were pulling a trick or so. but got to noe it was for real. DAMN SHITTTT PLEASE!! Went back to JP to search but to no avail. but still thankful to Boyi for all his help.

Sian to the max.. went back to camp and had alittle trouble bookin in. and luckily the sgt understood my situation and did not lecture me for returnin late.. Phew. was told to report to the course warrant the next day.. but eventually didnt really see him and couldnt contact him.. Missed out seeing the RP cuz had outfield prac the entire Tuesday. so... decided to drag it further. WHAT A PROCRASTINATOR I AM! perhaps im 'hum-ji' or maybe im just too afraid to face the music?

Wed to Fri.. couldnt report the matter as well cuz went oufield.. talk about it later.. it's regarding the 3rd adj in my title..

Feeling lucky cuz i recover it! lemme describe the entire process.. Friday booked out and spoke to one of the bus uncles.. he then gave me another uncle's no. hu frequents the route the most often.. called him and he insisted i didnt take his bus.. cuz i gave him the wrong timing. xD but still hoped he could check out his bus and give me a reply.. which he didnt..

Today morning my mum woke me up suddenly cuz of my passport thing. no IC cant collect. i was like SHIT!! i then called the uncle and insisted he helped me check.. LUCKILY!! (or perhaps suay?!) was in the rubbish bin!! Heck it mans!! Took mrt to boonlay and waited nearly an hour for him.. eventaully took a cab to PLC to find him and gave him a $10 as a thank-you fee... sounds stupid?. but at least it's better than paying $150 and doing 6 extra guard duty....

okok. now Pek Chek!! It's all my Survival Training. had a grp mate hu almost made me tear all my hair out or even hope to throw parang at him.. Aint sure wad to do with him.. Xiangxing and me were at the brink of explosion these 3days.. aint want to talk much about it..

Hmmmm. Thanks CzL for the treat mans.. ur 'secret' is finally out.. do u sound abit more relieved? Just hope we can sit beside each other on the plane kay? xD and wads with the orange urine?.. u like red rite?.. ur bladder got infection issit?....

Let's talk about some problematic stuff that happened in the army.. Had a week of break the previous week due to fever. and was supposed to be out of course.. but PS came over and told us we had to undergo this entire package.. Outfield from Mon to Thurs. with a field camp on Wed. No choice but to undergo, though im out of course alrdyyy. ARGHHHH!! After tahan-ing the entire package. i was told that im back on course. WEIRDS RITE!! The Power of Rank... xD (let's not disclose much okayy..)

Hmmm. Taiwan on the 15th!! will be travelling with a very good friend who might be posted there for a yr.. Really gotta miss him sia..(dun puke okayy..) In addition..Orders anyone?!?! will try to take all of them..

Okays. another 2e5 outing! Rocky's Pizza at Sunset Way. Refer to Czl Blog for more details.. but to add on to his post.. Other than Yibin who thought it was located at Somerset (perhaps cuz the place is Sunset Way. sound similar?).. but Jinfa thought it was at the Sunset Grill Area.. the Seletar Airbase. And was shocked when we said it was so near to Bukit Batok..

Oh yeah. on my way back.. took 61 from the place to BB interchange to take MRT. before entering the station. realised that i dropped my iTouch.. went back to the bus and check and everything.. lucky the uncle let me up the bus and there it was.. HENG SIA! 1 MONTH'S PAY LEHHHHH!!! Freaked out man..

Just hope me entering back to course is the correct choice...

OOHHHHHH! "I DON'T CARE EH EH EH EH EH" is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo addictive!!

Darn it mans.. perhaps this is wad people say "Good times dun last.." Had a whole week of break from NS.. no camp. no training. no boots. no FBO. no Fast March. no everything!! Just slack at home... Things got really sian at first.. but when it's about to come to an end. how u wish it could drag on further... Currently OOC from Recce Course le bahh. aint sure gonna go back 5Sir or help out with stores over there.. but if it's the latter. just allow me to go Taiwan Please!!! And less work please!!

Sighhh. why am i complaining when the rest of my platoon are suffering worse than me?!. Though i will undergo wad they are going thru in the future.. okok. nvm... dun talk about army.

Ok. today's Ronghui RongXian's birthday celebration.. And stupid Yongshin was late for nearly an hour! Arghhhh!!.. Took 262 and got to Bishan Park.. where we walked to the restaurant.. Cool rite?!. an open restaurant in a park?! Got there and immediately welcomed by Ronghui.. and ltr rongxian.. Both of them are still SUPER FUNNY PLEASE!! their speech. tone. actions. everything.. super hilarious.. think my mouth didnt shut since i went there.. ate some and chatted some.. Soon.. louise gotta leave and RH and RX grabbed her for some photoshoot.. as though wedding photo like that.. all their poses Freaking make me laugh like crazyyy.. Blueberry Cheesecake!! NICE!!

Louise was supposed to leave earlier.. but cuz she dilly-dally.. in e end missed her driving circuit lesson. and got kinda ticked off? by her teacher.. saying the lesson could have been given to another student.. she felt kinda depressed and started pushin all the blame to yongshin for being late.. LOL.. make him super guilty.. the entire trip home she was giving him this super bu-shuang look.. Funny.....

Hmm. Had a fast march on Friday and soon kena fever after that.. dunno due to fatigue or is a spread from Xiangxing.. but many of my platoon-mates kena.. 7!! H1N1 Fever! LOL.. but feeling much better now except for some phlegm.. Now gonna go back camp.. PS called to ask me try revoke my status.. otherwise really will OOC from course.. last ray of hope please...

Hmmmm... highlight of this week: NDP Combined Rehearsal 3!
(shall mention this at lower part of my post..)

Army this past week has been pretty slack. aint much to talk about.. but this week gonna have some route marches and some other things to do.. Shit work lahhs. cuz gonna go on course the following Thursday.. Have been really talking with one bunkmate: ZhenFeng. Very funny fella... and he's in my team as well. Always talking cock and felt kinda bad to use his PSP one entire nite to play =X Oh yeahh! Beret-wearing starts this week!! Just hope it's season-ed enough.. otherwise it will look like im wearing a mushroom on my head...

Something REALLY REALLY funny happened this week in our bunk. My friend got a scam call from someone way far from Hongkong. and told him that he won a lucky draw back then and needed him to do a survey.. and obviously Singaporeans are damn smart.. this scam pretty much took a 180degrees turn..

Let's name my friend A and the scammer B.. The entire conversation was in Chinese..

B: You have won a lucky draw in Hongkong.. Would you mind participating in a survey for us so that we could transfer the money to you?
A: (Knew it straightaway) Oh OK!! What do you want me to answer?
B: Okay. May I ask for your name?..
A: (may sound crude..) Oh.. my surname is Gan. and my name is Ni-Na.. so my full name is Gan Ni Na
B: (didnt suspect a thing. perhaps cuz Hongkonger. dun understand Hokkien.) Oh ok.. which Gan, Ni and Na?
A: Oh.. 甘 for 甘蔗, 腻 for 细腻, 哪 for 哪边.. but the na is the 2nd pronunciation. if u noe wad i mean..

Okok. enough with army.. now mentioning about the parade.. Not too bad actually. incorporated a storyline to talk about Singapore's past and development till today.. the stage looked pretty cool though.. But obviously smaller than Kallang Stadium. The marching contigency is SOOOO MUCHHHH SMALLLLLERR.. but really liked the display of some new SAF equipmt. when they fired those blanks and everything.. perhaps is army syndrome bahh. Lol.

Oh yeah. something annoyed me during the parade. the group of 3 beside me saw some army soldiers walking past them during one of the event.. and criticised "ORD LOHHH!!" GEessshhh!!

Nvm.. let's talk about the pre-parade preparation..

first person that came to my mind was CzL. Why? Cuz he always ON for such stuff de den GAM GAM friend somemore.. But. Suay suay he had Guard Duty..

Next.. Thought of Eric and Howkiat but thought they wouldnt be interested. esp Eric..

Next thought.. Giving away the tickets! First group: Cindy and Yiwen.. but Cindy was working.. den asked Yiwen.. her friend supposed agreed. but couldnt make it last minute..

Joan den came to my mind.. asked her but wasnt free either..

Desperately.. asked Eric to go with me.. and OBVIOUS ANS!!.. suggested Zx instead.. but he didnt reply. got to noe ltr he was still in camp. cant book out cuz of some outfield stuff..

Then.. Howkiat.. Surprisingly!! HE AGREED!!! WOOHHOOOOOO!!

Ok.. that's about all. LOL!!

After the show. went to watch transformers 2.. Met up with Yudhi and Eric(who came from his family dinner..) and ended near 12mn. and Home we went!!

Really screwed up morning i had today.. first was parade. which equals to smartest uniform.. shiniest boots.. perfect haircut and no sideburns.. everything needed to be PERFECT!! but eventually.. asked us to move stuffs to the parade square.. how to be PERFECT!?!?..

Never Mind!!..

Worse = RAIN!!
WORST = Cannot hide in shelter!! Had to endure for about 20-30mins of the parade under the freaking rain.. Arghhh!! to think one of the values is care for soldiers... nvm. parade is more important....

Shldnt be bloggin about army stuff in blog.. but no choice. jut venting my anger..

Maybe this nights out is a reward for us enduring the cold and rain. perhaps that's how i wana see it...

I gotta admit. perhaps im being too kiam-pa(qian da/shld be whacked..) but this entire week in army has been too SLACCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.. like 3 or 4 days of stayin in bunk the entire day.. out to makan our meals nia.. and im feeling that this really aint my life. need some working out and training.. otherwise i think i really gonna grow old like 10x faster..

Ok.. over with army stuff.. had some outing with 2e5 peeps. really sudden.. but sparked off cuz i asked cs if he had his first book out.. and he desperately wanted to go out. Seriously i think for the past 3wks? or 4? i have been going out with 2e5peeps for every bookout. Damn cool right.. Lemme recall..

6th June - Celebrate Joan/Fidel Birthday (organiser: Me and Czl)
13th June - Ms Clarity Cafe (organiser: Lixin)
21st June - DimSum Breakfast with eric jiaguang and hk (organiser: Czl who was absent -.-)
27th June - Marina Sq then Sunset Way (organiser: Cs?)

But nvm.. go out these few weeks sia. after i go for my recce course i might be too tired to even step out of my house..

Hmmmm. one last thing to say: I HATE BOOKING IN!! esp with all the guard duties that we have to cover for the whole battalion. HATE IT TO THE MAX!!

Czl came up with the idea out of the blue on sat. and asked me joan hk jg to join. budden super-blur-and-cock Czl forgot he got father's day celebration at hm. and had to back out last minute.. First time man. an organiser backing out an activity.. and suay suay i kena the responsibility.. so eventually asked eric to take his place. As expected. or may i say... As usual. Joan OVERSLEPT!! didnt pick up the phone though we spammed like crazy. and off we went w/o her to eat DIMSUM!! long time since i ate that man!!

All along i tot it was supposed to be on Dutch. but i still helped the 3guys buy kopi.. Guess wad. Lady Luck sure smiles on those hu does good things. Howkiat forked out the money for about 3 whole trays full of dimsum and didnt collect money from us!! Dunno is he treating or just forgot about collecting money.. but WHO CARES!! WHAAHAHHAHAHA *evil*

I'm having pretty bad mood swings recently.. from being very bothered by everything to wanting to heck care everything in life. Just ain't sure wads going wrong with me.. Perhaps that's something everyone will go thru in life..

Hmms.. Haven't been having the best perspective towards Army. but think it got worse this week. Another Guard Duty!! Once i told this news to Eric, CzL and my Mum.. they were like "AGAIN?!?!?!" Life in Army really suck. but suck more when ur platoon has only 3people who can do guard duty.. while the rest are either on course or on long-term status.. But what can i do?! Other than suck thumb and carry out the orders..

My mum's going to Vietnam for a week of work.. There's no H1N1 flu case there right!?. (touch wood..) but hope everything goes well for her over there..

Really anticipating the upcoming weekend. another outing with 2e5 peeps to celebrate Joan and Fidel's birthday! Hope that the planning can be smooth sia. both me and czl gonna go in camp!

This is for the first time i really really dun wana return to camp. for dunno wad reason. but aint gonna AWOL cuz of this.. trainin is gonna toughen these few weeks. and perhaps im going for my driving course on the 15th. but everything ain't confirmed yet.. Hmm. Yesterday could perhaps be the last time i stepped through the gates of PJC.. College Day is over and i have alrdy taken my SGC. Sighh. Really gonna miss the times over there. but all the friendships and memories aint gonna be forgotten easily..

Went back to PJC ytd for college's day.. Think that it changed quite abit. at least it is improving.. Met up with some SC peeps for lunch before heading down there. Met my classmates, councillors and some other long-time-nv-see friends.. Felt really great to see all of them..

Blah blah blah. went to Lt4 to sign in and everything. and it is darn inefficient.. took freaking long to sign the papers and take our certs and everything. Stupid zx dun wana go up stage.. and kinda regretted alittle afterwards?!

Frankly. i have been having a bad stomachache for about 6days? after which i got a last minute notification to go outfield to have other coys in the proficiency tests. First thing on my mind ----- Diarrhoea in outfield?. EEEWWWW! but miraculously. the feeling of shitting just disappears. Amazing huh?! It was a 4D3N of no shitting. no bathing. no changing of uniform xD

A stupid week in army.. got treated like a ball. Previously known to be in mortar. and felt as though 100% i would enter the platoon. On monday. got to noe i was posted to pioneer (kinda like sai gang job?!) nvm. just as i was getting over it.. on wed posted to RECCE AGAIN!!.. Arghh!! aint too bad anyways. just shag training.. what was worst was on friday. 6people (1/2 the no. in a bunk) cleaning a bunk 2x the size of a normal bunk.. Result: Shitty Area Cleaning. What made it worst of the worst was sucky bunkmates who didnt want to do any cleaning. takin opportunities to play chess. Sighhhs..

Nvm. dun talk about that army anymore... Met up with Zhixiang today. 2nd time i saw him.. Went to Bugis to get my Ipod touch.. really indecisive when buying. but eventually got myself a 16GB de.... Together with a cover and an 8% discount. Total: $493.25!!. No wonder Maisarah call it Ipod-Ouch!
Hmm. still unsure whether i will get into Medicine not. Probability: 5%! cuz heard that some applicants had received notification. and mine is still processing. Pray hard bahhhs. If cant get in. still aint sure whether i wana continue vying for PSC scholarship. Since i have little interest in that future career and my primary motive for getting it is to fund the medical education(if i could get in..)

Post-Labour Day

Weeeee! Finally a long weekend from NS. started from Wed nite to 9pm today.. not too bad actually. Hmmm. they hafen announce my vocation as yet. pretty nervous about it. though im like 95% knowing where im posted to anyways..

Got pretty fed up with a woman named Jennifer this few days. She's from PSC scholarship and asks me to hand up some documents cuz i sent in the wrong one.. BUT. GOD DAMN IS SHE FREAKING RUDE!! not only my mother says so.. but i got to know of how bad she is during our conversation.. For a person working as a civil servant and contacting us.. wouldnt she be polite to listen to us talk instead of blabbering all the way non-stop.. without giving us a chance to talk. Imagine you talking halfway and someone cut in and talk nonstop, without giving u a chance to continue.. How would you feel?! Insulted right?! and im not sure if such civil servants know anything about business management.. told her about my father's career background and somehow she doesnt get a thing.. and keeps insistin on me giving her an answer which doesnt exist =.="

Nvm. dun talk about that woman.. makes me pissed!! On labour day, was supposed to go singing with 2e5 peeps.. but the 10dollar club was fully booked and top-one was abit too expensive.. Eventually went to a place so familiar ------ Howkiat House! Did the same thing. and joan took some pictures.. Here are they:

Headed over to Aston to makan western.. Cheap and affordable -- I LIKE IT!! But had loads of trouble ordering as they had alot of side dishes sold out. but 4stars!!

Guard Duty at Marina Floating platform - 3words ------ Slack, but boring!! Couldnt get to sleep as wasnt comfortable on the "bed".. Then it rained while i went arnd prowling.. Sighh. Food - KFC or Pizza Hut. Not too bad... but get alittle sick of it.

Gotta admit. this is really the slackest week of all the 19weeks i have been in the army.. (excluding my block leave) things i did this 4days: shooting, and 2 runs... rest: SLEEP!! i swear i slept at least 2 entire mornings and 1 entire afternoon.. while there are other on and off sleeping time. damn waste of my time! sighhhhh

My bro's bday is on 27th April (same as weiguang)... So Pre-happy birthday wishes to him!!

Hmmm. tot of getting him a gift since monday. and tot of getting a shoe at first. but my mum told me it was inauspicious to get him one. so got him an oakley black backpack.. 235bucks!! lucky my mum got a takashimaya voucher of 100bucks.. so narrowed it down by a HUGE margin..

went to pray in the morning. and my mum asked me to go to a bus-stop to get a bus to orchard.. in e end there wasnt one =.= so took one random bus and got myself to marina square.. toured an empty shopping mall (was about 10am then).. and found that yukiyaki wasnt closed as mentioned by lixin.

Hmmm. got back home and my house had 2 tables of mahjong set up. with all the seats full.. and they played for a freaking long time. den off for dinner!

Super bored today. went over to pray my grandparents. den headed for breakfast at Telok Ayer St. after which Beach Road and i was wondering where to go... just went to one random bus stop and there was only a bus there =.= took that and went to Vivo.. and suayness!! Lost my EzLink Card. so mafan!! and had to pay 43 to activate my SAF Card. Arghhhh!

Watched The Fast and Furious 4 today. not too bad a movie.. but think it lacked the driving scenes.. this series had more fighting and talkin rather than the adrenaline-rushing scenes.. but the first few scenes were REALLY GOOD!! esp when they raided the oil tank.. SUPER EXCITING!!

hmm. after which went over for a meal with 8 other 2e5peeps.. CzL Howkiat Jiaguang Lixin Jinfa Fidel Benjamin Jason.. Czl introduced this place in Bishan. near the Long House.. and he said the ribs were not too bad. but i ate the steak instead.. and guess wad.. i was there in the morning to pray offerings to my grandparents. what a waste of time travelling arnd huh?!

Oh yeah.. speaking of the steak. it was really tough. HARD. TOUGH! nvm..

Nvm. dun talk about unhappy stuff. but there's not much happy moments to share anyway. this week and the upcoming one might not make smile. the interview is approaching!! there's 2 this week. and i really wana clinch the one on tuesday.. SO WISH ME LUCK KAY!!

Went out with Eric and Howkiat ytd nite. For supper.. really random. Was in camp and really got sick and tired of the place. First thought that came to my mind was to catch a breather outside. and chat with the closest frenz.. too bad Czl couldnt make it. Thanks to howkiat for the transport. went over to boonlay for nasi lemak. Long queue sia. the food aint bad but kinda EX. chatted abit and learnt quite alot. might be useful for my interview! =)

Really thankful to my mother for helping me with all the interview preparation stuff this week. and my dad for being the 'courier'! Dunno wad to do without them. Hope i wont disappoint them this time round...

Posted to 5SIR for the rest of my 21months of NS.. luckily. the camp is in bukit panjang. so it's pretty near my house..

To be frank. aint really happy with my posting. with so many of my friends posted to slack ones. i really wonder im suay or wad.. but just gotta face reality. All the ninja peeps are like cursing and swearing for entering here. but we just cant do anything else but that.. sighhhh

really aint used to the environment over there.. the atmosphere. the system. afew of the peeps. almost everything. and oh yeahh.. time really CRAWLS over there.. and is worse den a snail.

Hmmm. some good news. im shortlisted for interview. for medicine.. for christ sake. really happy! and REALLY REALLY REALLY wish to get accepted. at least i wouldnt be wasting the education that my parents provided me for.. above all. really would love a career in the medical field! the interview is on the 7th. and worse.. an essay on the 8th.. really nervous sia!! but competition is really really stiff. 260 vacancies only. OHHHH PLEASEEE!! People pls pass me all ur luck can!?!?!

Really getting stressed up now. with all the preparation work for the interview.. have to send the stuff 3workin days prior to the interview. and i aint got the time. stupid NS! ARgghhh! really gotta bother my mum for help alrdy.. Or can any frenz who are free help me with this?!

Went over to eric house area in the morning.. was kinda late XD got some stuff from the mama shop over there.. Tuna Spread. NUTELLA. Bread. Chips. Drinks.. up to $44.75!

Next.. Up the tall hill.. but this time it wasnt so difficult to climb. Perhaps the work of NS bahh.. Somehow i walked it up like a breeze with the load im carrying.. Reached his house and headed into the kitchen and started off with the work.. Slicing off the sides of the bread. putting the spread onto the bread. cutting the bread into halves... After which.. eric maid came over and said.. You all should put the spread den cut off the sides!!.. We were like OHHH~ but ltr i thought... Got difference meh?!?!

Nvm. we chilled the stuff and found out we are short of bread.. lucky eric kept some in the FREEZER!! WTH!! he said can store longer -.-" Why FREEZER?!?!.. the bread taken out was hard like rock.. and had to be microwaved.. First time i see this.

settled the food and went up to eric room to hang arnd for awhile. mafia wars abit. spot the difference den off we went.. howkiat chaffeured us to the food centre LOL..had satay beehoon and bus-ed off to Botanic Gardens!

Over there. and found out NO MAT!! LOL. sat on the grass. and everyone started gorging the food.. though we just had lunch before.. after that got bored and played 007 BANG!! by counting no. of mistakes. have to pay the ratio of price of movie tickets.. LOL. bullied CS till he's the ultimate Loser. but Jiaguang soon chased up.. each had to pay 1/5 of the total movie ticket price

Out of nowhere. RAIN!!!! and we chionged to the food court and ate the sandwiches. next.. slack and i camwhored abit...

Hmmm. time to share my A lvls results.. Pretty satisfied by it. but think i could have done alittle bit better?. Its often when u get a B that u find it wasted u didnt work hard enough to secure an A.. that goes for my GP. and still feeling very heartache for the B for Pw. put in effort but wasnt seen.. Sighh..

However, on the bright side.. i got my As for Chinese and my 4H2s. one of the top students.. but not the extreme top (ok ASTA!!) hmm. ppl might be envoius of my results... but it somehow gives me headache also. which course to enter and if i wana enter the tough courses... i really need to be mentally prepared and ready for interviews and everything.. and hopefully get accepted.. AHHHHHHH!! STRESS!!!

How How How?!?! Alrdy have few courses and scholarships in mind. but aint sure if i can secure them. asked arnd for some suggestions and really gotta thank those hu helped me..

This has been a really long long week. many things happened sia... 12km route march and other stuff which cant really be mentioned online.. But good thing is. all my High-key events are finally over. and life is going back to PTP days.. gotta motivate to train more!!!

(joan dun say i didnt call u. i didnt noe u didnt pay ur bills..) initially tot of treating it as a gathering. until i suddenly rmb hk bday's tmr. met up with them at parkway mall and headed to the glasshouse for Fish&Co. shared a Seafood Feast Platter with Eric ($59.90) while the rest ordered their individual food. in the end their food came but not both of ours.. thanks howkiat for highlighting them. and guess wad?!!? THEY LOST OUR RECEIPT.. but.. thats not the climax. WE ARE GIVEN 2 FREE BASKETS OF FRIES AND ONE PLATTER FOR 2 PEOPLE! EXTREME SHIOKNESS!!

Then. something super funny happened. Hk asked for the bill and it wrote there one Turtle Colossal(cake).. but he told the waitress that he didnt order it and asked for a verification.. i looked at czl but he had no reaction.. after that the waitress came over witht the cake and candle and we sang the bday song!. Stupid Czl ordered the cake w/o us knowing. and it was so coincidental that the bill was sent to hk..

the 4noisy girls from s01 came over just now.. long time since i met them. as usual.. their volume really kept my house rocking. and my bro could hear our entire conversation with the door closed. Female version of howkiat huh?!?!

Is it unfair or wad?! had a late book out on sat (reached home at 12mn).. and had to go back to camp today at 5.30pm! Eric booked out a day earlier and is booking in tomorrow evening!! Super what the hell! Arghhhh! Life is unfair!!

Chinese New Year this yr wasnt very fun. visiting and everything. and most common topic i spoke was about NS. BORING! had some catching up with my relatives here and there.. and ate quite alot this yr though xD Somemore time passed really fast sia..to be exact 2days of rest. cuz today whole day have to pack all my stuff. LOADS OF THEM!!

really wana catch up with my friends soon. supposed to meet up with felicia today. but my house isnt very available though... 2e5 also!! only seeing CzL these few days. (im not complaining ok, czl?) GATHERING SOON OKAY?!?!

hmmmmm.. gonna go my uncle house ltr. den meet up with czl for dinner before booking in. I WANNA HAVE MORE REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally endured the six days of shagness. and fortunately.. im still alive and healthy. with some slight cough here and there.

Motivation = Chinese New year!!

Sleeping on mud (less than 4hours a day). taking extra care of ur rifle. physical training. lying on the ground for hours and also kneeling down till ur knees blue-black and pain like crazy..
